On the second day, we immersed ourselves in the local fruit garden of Yogyakarta and its enchanting natural beauty. Our goal was to explore various sections of the garden showcasing a wide variety of fruit trees, including local and exotic fruits. We learned about the cultivation, harvesting, and care of the fruit trees from local guides. Not only did we learn, but we also had the opportunity to taste some ripe fruits in season and participate in picking fruits directly.
After the fruit garden, we continued our journey to Pinus Magunan. Upon arriving at Pinus Magunan, we strolled through the pine forest, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and taking in the beauty of the natural surroundings. We took photographs of the beautiful landscapes and had the chance to purchase local souvenirs.
Next, our adventure took us to Sri Gethuk Waterfall. At Sri Gethuk Waterfall, we embarked on a short hike to reach the waterfall while enjoying the breathtaking view of the waterfall and its surrounding area.
Afterwards, we ventured to Bukit Bintang. Upon arrival, we enjoyed the panoramic view from the hilltop, walking around and visiting local art studios or galleries while savoring local tea to conclude our cultural and natural exploration for the day.
To wrap up our day, we visited Indrayanti Beach to enjoy the sunset and play in the water. Today was a day filled with appreciation for the culture and natural wonders of Yogyakarta
